Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel fancy and comfortable! We’re going for a whimsical fantasy aesthetic, so feel free to have fun with your outfit and accessories. If you need a dress code level, think “festive semi-formal”, but don’t feel limited :)
Should I avoid any colors?
Yes, but not white like tradition! Feel free to wear silver, white, or patterns/floral over white. Instead, please avoid blues in the shade range of:
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony, dinner, and reception will all be fully outdoors on the Nestldown property. The temperature during the day will likely be 83-87 degrees, and can dip down to 60 as the sun sets. You may want to consider bringing a light jacket or shawl!
Where should we park?
There are 66 parking spots in the main lot, which should be enough. If there does happen to be an overspill, there's a second dirt parking area available.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Yes, please feel free to bring a date if you’d like! Make sure to indicate your +1 when you RSVP so that we have an accurate guest count for catering.
What’s your policy on phones and photo taking?
Please keep the ceremony technology free so that we can focus on the moment and help the photographer and videographer get the shots they need. Afterwards, feel free to take pictures here and there – we'll even have a photo area with props! Keep in mind though that cell service is poor in the area, so be prepared to spend the evening off the grid :)
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes we can, please indicate in your RSVP response.
Is there an age limit / are children invited?
Any kids that are invited are specifically named on your invitation! Our wedding is “kid friendly” but we have limited capacity for children at the venue. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Is your venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is fully wheelchair accessible and there will be a staffed golf cart to help transport anyone who needs mobility assistance.
Where will updates be posted?
If anything major changes, we’ll send an email and add a message to the front page of our website. Please make sure to give us a current email address in your RSVP!
Where will photos and video be posted?
We’ll share the gallery links from our photographer and videographer on our wedding website, via email, and on Facebook once they’re ready.
